Saint Paul’s College
LET’S SAVE OUR SCHOOL!
Dear Alumni and Friends:
This letter is a call to action to keep Saint Paul’s College alive and thriving!
Saint Paul’s College needs your help now more than ever to eliminate a deficit of $608,500. To date, we have raised $147,768 toward that goal. On May 10, 2013, which was the 62nd Annual Saint Paul’s College Alumni Day, we raised $72,422 and with contributions thereafter, Alumni Day donations now stand at $74,852. With your help, the funds that we raise will aid Saint Paul’s College in continuing to operate and also help students to continue in their efforts to obtain a quality education.
Your support not only allows us to keep open a great institution that has enabled many of us to become pillars and role models within the community, but it also supports the legacy of Archdeacon James Solomon Russell. Former students of this historically black college have opened businesses, became educators, clergymen and leaders. Because Saint Paul’s College exists, you are who you are today. Just take a moment to remember a time when you, as a Saint Paulite, helped someone or when a Saint Paulite helped you.
I am always proud to be a Saint Paulite and whenever I meet a Saint Paulite, I gain a greater appreciation and pride for my alma mater. Will you give with me and other alumni in raising funds toward our goal to keep our school – our love – alive?
We really appreciate all of your past support and donations to keep Saint Paul’s College’s doors open for a student to continue his/her education. Your contributions are needed by the 31st of May. Please make all contributions payable to Saint Paul’s College. You may send it to Saint Paul’s College, Office of Institutional Advancement, to the attention of: Mrs. Sandra Clayton, 115 College Drive, Lawrenceville, Virginia, 23868. For on-line giving, go to www.saintpauls.edu and click on “Giving” on the orange bar.
Thanks for all you do,
Ottillie N. James, ‘08
